We offer a comprehensive range of genuine Audi alloy wheels to customers around the world. They are available to fit the majority of Audi's vehicle range; including wheels for the new Audi A1 and Audi TT through to larger vehicles like the Q7.

By working closely with our suppliers we are able to bring you one of the largest ranges available on the web, and we work hard to ensure that we have wheels to fit even the newest models - as soon as they come off of the production line. The wheels that we supply are all genuine products, available to order through dealerships, but unlike main dealers we're occasionally able to offer wheels with huge discounts.

By buying from Alloy Wheels Direct you have the convenience of browsing wheels produced by or for your Audi, knowing that they'll be a perfect fit, and also having the option to buy tyres - fitted at home or at work.

Audi - Company History

Audi has a history dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s and was formed by August Horch. Originally called A.Horch & Cie the company name was changed to Audi following a dispute with Horch's previous business partners. The first Audi was introduced in 1910 and was dubbed the 'Type A' - a car with a 4-cylinder engine producing 21 bhp. This doesn't seem much when you compare it to one of the Audis of today – the R8 V10 MTM can produce as much as 777 bhp!

Audi Alloys

After a troubled period during the war, Audi moved its headquarters to Ingolstadt, a Bavarian city in the south of Germany, and was purchased by Daimler Benz in 1958. In 1966 Audi became a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, which it remains a part of to this day.

Since the 80s, Audi has grown into a worldwide brand, with sales doubling between 2000 and 2008. Much like the rest of the Volkswagen Group, Audi is known for its use of technology and innovation in the design and build of its vehicles. Audi has a well-known slogan "Vorsprung Durch Technik", meaning advantage by technology.

Wheels for Audi - Frequently Asked Questions

No. Audi alloy wheels are precision-engineered for specific models, with unique PCD (e.g., 5x112 for the A4), offset, and centre bore specifications. For example, wheels designed for an A6 will not fit a Q3. Rest assured: our website only displays wheels guaranteed to fit your car, and our team double-checks every order against Audi’s technical documentation.

  • Audi OE (Original Equipment) wheels: The exact wheels fitted at the factory, produced by Audi or their approved suppliers, ensuring 100% compatibility.
  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) wheels: Made by third-party manufacturers to Audi’s specifications but not sold through Audi’s official channels.
  • Aftermarket wheels: Premium alternatives from brands like Borbet, MSW, OZ Racing, and Ronal, designed to meet or exceed Audi’s engineering standards.

What we sell:

  • Genuine OE Audi wheels sourced from Audi’s supply chain.
  • High-quality aftermarket wheels from trusted brands, pre-filtered for Audi-specific compatibility (PCD, offset, brake clearance).

Every wheel, whether OE or aftermarket, is manually checked against Audi’s technical data to ensure flawless fitment.

Absolutely. We guarantee all wheels with robust warranty protection:

  • Genuine Wheels for Audi include the full Audi factory warranty, identical to purchasing from a main dealer.
  • Premium aftermarket wheels (e.g., Borbet, OZ Racing) come with the manufacturer’s warranty, typically two years from purchase.

Both warranties cover defects in materials and craftsmanship. Every wheel is manually checked against Audi’s technical specifications to ensure flawless compatibility.

While refurbished wheels may seem cost-effective, new Audi wheels are the safer, longer-lasting choice. Even expertly restored wheels can have hidden issues: refinishing weakens structural integrity over time, finishes chip or corrode faster (especially in winters), and they lack Audi’s factory warranty.

New OE or premium aftermarket wheels (e.g., Borbet, MSW) offer:

  • Durability: OE finishes resist salt, grime, and wear.
  • Perfect fitment: Pre-filtered for your Audi’s brakes, suspension, and PCD.
  • Warranty protection: OE wheels include Audi’s guarantee; aftermarket wheels come with brand warranties.

Yes - if the specifications align. For example, RS6 wheels may require spacers or suspension adjustments on a standard A6. Our website automatically filters wheels to match your Audi’s PCD, offset, and brake clearance, so you only see options guaranteed to fit. For added confidence, our team manually verifies fitment using Audi’s technical data before dispatch.

Smaller sizes like 17” for an A4 or 18” for a Q5 are ideal for winter tyres, improving snow traction and reducing pothole damage risk. Pair them with Audi’s Quattro® system for unbeatable winter performance. To find the perfect winter wheels for your Audi, select your vehicle above to see compatible options or contact our team for advice on size, offset, and tyre pairings.

We recommend OZ Racing, Borbet, BE by Breyton, MSW, Ronal, and Sparco - brands synonymous with precision engineering and Audi-compatible design. All wheels are pre-filtered for compatibility, whether you’re upgrading an A1 for city driving style or an RS7 for the track.

Yes. Choose genuine Audi OE wheels in iconic finishes like gloss black (Audi Sport Edition) or diamond-cut (S-Line). For aftermarket flair, brands like OZ, MSW, and Ronal offer bespoke designs. All our aftermarket wheels are designed to complement Audi’s aesthetics, and we offer a wide range of rims compatible with your Audi.

Yes, when using hub-centric, TÜV-certified spacers. For example, 10mm spacers can enhance stance on an S-Line A4 without compromising safety. However, it's crucial to ensure that the spacers are installed correctly and that the wheel bolts have sufficient thread engagement to maintain safety and performance.

  • Daily Care: Use a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft brush to preserve finishes like gloss black or diamond-cut, particularly after long drives.
  • Winter Protection: Apply a ceramic sealant to guard against salt and road grime.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: These can degrade factory coatings on Audi’s signature finishes.
