Starting with the G-series cars - like the G20 3 Series, G30 5 Series, and G01 X3 - BMW moved to a 5x112 bolt pattern and a 66.6mm centre bore. This change reflects BMW’s shift to shared-platform parts across brands.
This means wheels from an older F-series BMW won’t fit a G-series, even if the size and design look similar. If you're installing aftermarket BMW wheels, you may need hub-centric rings to correct bore differences and avoid vibration.
